Materials. Gaps. Words. Threads. Representations. I think from there and take them with me, outside their boxes, walls and vitrines and out to where learning and thinking actually happens.

-> Sufra Archive:

I curate and digitize a growing collection of over 4,200 items documenting the food, agricultural, and food manufacturing histories of West Asia and North Africa, serving as a resource for scholars, researchers, and cultural practitioners.

-> Archival installations:

In my installations, I root exhibitions in history by bringing archives out of their confinement and placing them in dialogue with other works and media. I assemble texts, image, and objects around themes of food and social systems to surface connections, absences, and tensions, creating spaces to think with history
